Licensing Policy

1. Introduction

The MULTIDISCIPLINARY JOURNAL OF INSTRUCTION (MDJI) is committed to the open dissemination of scholarly research. This licensing policy clarifies the terms under which authors can publish their work in MDJI and how users can access and reuse published articles.

2. License Options

MDJI offers authors a choice of two open access licenses for their articles:

  • Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY): This license allows for the widest dissemination of your work. Users are free to share and adapt your article as long as they attribute you as the original author.

3. Author Rights

Authors who publish in MDJI retain copyright of their work. By selecting a CC BY or CC BY-NC license, authors grant MDJI and readers certain rights, as specified by the chosen license. These rights include:

  • The right to publish the article in MDJI
  • The right for readers to access and share the article under the terms of the chosen license

4. User Rights

Under a CC BY license, users have the right to:

  • Share and adapt the article
  • Reproduce the article in any format
  • Create derivative works based on the article

Under a CC BY-NC license, users have the right to:

  • Share and adapt the article for non-commercial purposes
  • Reproduce the article in any format for non-commercial purposes
  • Create derivative works based on the article for non-commercial purposes

5. User Responsibilities

When using articles published in MDJI, users must:

  • Attribute the authors and MDJI as the original source
